What we have tested,
and where we
fall short.

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across this site. This statement records what has been tested, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us when we have got something wrong.

What has been done and measured

• Colour contrast measured, not assumed. Every text and background pair in use was sampled from the rendered page and checked against the AA threshold for its actual size and weight. The lowest ratio in the system is 4.85:1 against a 4.5:1 requirement.
• Keyboard operable throughout. Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator. A skip link is the first focusable item on every page. Menus close on Escape.
• Semantic structure. One h1 per page and no skipped heading levels, verified programmatically across all pages. Landmark regions for header, navigation, main and footer.
• Motion respected. With reduce motion enabled in your operating system, animations and transitions are disabled. Content that animates in becomes immediately visible rather than being hidden.
• Decorative images carry empty alt text so screen readers skip them rather than announcing filenames. Meaningful diagrams have text descriptions.
• Form fields have real labels, not placeholder text standing in for them.
• Text resizes. Layout holds at 200% zoom and reflows down to a 320px viewport without horizontal scrolling of the page.

Known limitations

We would rather list these than let you discover them.

• The comparison table on the Why us page scrolls horizontally on narrow screens. It has too many columns to reflow sensibly. The scroll region is keyboard-accessible and the table has proper header cells, but on a phone it requires sideways scrolling.
• Typefaces load from a third-party CDN. If that request fails, the site falls back to system fonts. Layout holds, but line lengths shift slightly.
• The contact form opens your email application rather than submitting directly. If your device has no mail client configured, the button will appear to do nothing. You can always write to us directly instead.
• No formal audit has been carried out. Our testing is automated plus manual keyboard checking. It has not been reviewed by an accessibility specialist or tested with a broad range of assistive technologies.

How this was tested

Automated checks on colour contrast, heading order, landmark structure, image alternatives, form labelling, duplicate identifiers and focus order, run across every page at desktop, tablet and mobile widths. Manual keyboard-only navigation of every page and interactive component. Reduced-motion behaviour verified with the preference enabled.

Not yet done: testing with JAWS, NVDA or VoiceOver, and review by an accessibility professional.
